Mobile and Self Print Ticketing

Mobile and Self Print Ticketing

From the end of July we're introducing Mobile and Self Print ticketing for selected off-peak train services between Leeds and London.  These delivery options will initially only be made available using the specially created "NXEC E&M Ticket", with plans to make them available on all routes with all Advance tickets next year.

Mobile Ticketing

  • You must have a compatible WAP enabled mobile telephone, which needs to be registered via "My Account". A list of compatible devices can be found here.
  • Tickets will be stored in a downloaded National Express East Coast Ticket Wallet application on your mobile phone. You would then open the application and display the relevant ticket to the ticket inspector during your journey.

Self Print

  • This can be selected on the Delivery Options screen providing you have access to a PC or laptop, a standard inkjet or laser printer and have Adobe Acrobat Reader (can be downloaded free of charge from www.adobe.com) to view the ticket.
  • Your ticket must be printed clearly on plain white A4 paper. Tickets printed in any other colour or format will not be accepted and a new ticket will have to be purchased.
  • You will have to provide ID in the form of the credit/debit card used to purchase your ticket(s).

NXEC E&M Ticket Conditions

Once purchased your NXEC E&M Ticket is non-changeable, non-refundable and valid only on the date, train and for the seat reservation specified on the ticket.
